About The Artist
Cheryl Patrick is an artist, illustrator and creative director living in Denver, Colorado. She studied graphic design and fine arts at the University of Florida. She now spends most of her days designing logos and corporate communications materials while working at a branding and marketing firm. Her designs have come to life on the sides of tea boxes, in greeting cards, throughout retail store spaces and print publications. In her free time, she combines her fine art skills and design skills to create her encaustic paintings. Her artwork incorporates a variety of artistic techniques including painting, collage, printmaking and found objects. Her passion for vintage objects, including old newspaper ads, cookbooks and children's books can be seen as an influence in her creations.
She lives in a refurbished 1891 victorian home near jefferson park in Denver, Colorado with her two best friends named Scott & Jelly.
